How it works
We are a full-service dog hiking company, providing transportation and guided hikes for dogs of all sizes. For dog owners who want to make sure their fur babies are getting quality exercise and social interaction, regular hiking excursions with Chattapoochie Dog Hiking Adventures is the best full-service option in Atlanta!
Bark Bus Pickup
The Bark Bus will pick up your pooch from your home on the designated hike day(s). Your dog will be comfortably transported in their own "poochie pad" to and from the trails in a protective crate.
Hit The Trails
The pawsome adventure begins with a 2-2.5 hour hike where we explore, have fun with friends, take in the sniffs, enjoy water and snack breaks, and lots of positive reinforcement from the hike leader.
Receive Communication
We like to keep owners updated! You can count on us to photograph and make videos from different parts of the hike. You'll receive text updates with the day's trail map, photos of the pack, and a status when they arrive home.
Drop off at Home
We safely transport your pup home and escort them inside your home. We also make sure they tinkle before we leave. Your pup will be tuckered out when you get home.
Peace of mind for dogs and their owners
Safe Transportation
We safely transport your pooch from your home to the hike trail, and back home after the hike. Our “Bark Bus” has personal “poochie pads” for each dog, so they are safe and comfortable in a protective crate.
Supervised Exercise
We are trained professionals in pack management, so your pooch is in good hands. We are trained in Pet First Aid and CPR. Our packs are formed with only 3-4 dogs per human trail guide.
Social Enrichment
Your dog will experience new smells and challenges on the hikes. Dogs stay in safe, small groups to build confidence. Exercise and social interactions are proven to improve physical and behavioral disorders

Packs for all ages & stages
We have a pack for you!
Each pooch is thoroughly vetted for health and behavior and packs are grouped by age, stamina, energy, size, and temperament. We offer customized hiking experiences per age group. Each hikes is two hours (distance between 3-6.5 miles).
